At this ground level of the main house, used to live the farmers. With a surface of 160 sq. mt., it has 2 living-rooms, one with a kitchen equipped with fire-set and a rustic dining-room, its own pantry, 2 double-rooms and a triple room. All of them with their own bathroom. The main living-room features a long table, that hosts 16 diners. Besides this section enjoys a terrace with a large table and bench. All these accommodations have individual heating and a construction barbecue for the use of our guests. We will provide you wood-logs at no cost. We also welcome pets.

Formerly used as stable for calves and sheep, this bungalow has 2 double rooms, 1 triple room, a living room with fire-set and kitchen within, 2 bathrooms with a shower, and a terrace with a table and chairs. The capacity is for 7 people.
Vaqueria II
The old chicken coop has become a bungalow with 2 double rooms, 1 bathroom with shower, living room with fire-set and kitchen within, and a porch. The capacity is for 4 people.
Information of interest
- Solsona weekly market: every Friday morning (from 8am to 2pm) on the main squares (Plaça Major, Plaça del Bisbe, Plaça de la Catedral) to find fresh fruit & vegetables of outstanding quality. The specialty of this area (during season) are mushrooms and truffles.
- Sant Isidre Fair (May 16th to 14th 2021) is a multisectoral livestock and agricultural machinery fair. It comprises crafts such as lace, and others.
- Hunters Fair (May 23rd to 24th) features equipment for hunters and hunting dogs, live animals (partridges, rabbits, hares) and bird song demonstration.
Casa Solanes
The current estate dates back to the 17th century and was established on the ruins of an old 11th century castle. Built on top of a mound at 800 meters, the house has the charm of a large stately home.
On the way to the property, the visitor will be impressed by the striking views: a magnificent panorama view from Port del Comte ski resort to the Lleida plane. Few manor houses can boast such a long history that has been preserved until our time. In the Solanes estate you will find a pre-Romanesque hermitage, considered the jewel of the family.

Highlights
At Casa Rural Solanes we would like to highlight the events that we can organise in the spaces dedicated to this, the spaces for preparing barbecues with friends, the swimming pool with views of the mountains and we accept pets to accompany us on our routes through the mountains.
EVENTS
On the site of the old farmyard, we have adapted a living room with bar and digital TV set, next to a spacious dining room with a reading zone and a table tennis. Wedding banquets were held here for 40 guests. In the lower area of the yard, is situated the pre-Romanesque chapel in Lombard-style Santa Maria de Solanes. With a reduced dimension and a fairly good state of preservation, several family weddings have taken place in here. Among the woods of the estate is a little settlement -inhabited just recently- called Pampa, that also counts on a little gothic chapel.
